Sick. Absolutely perfect rig.
Although XTR cranks would be mint.

The air shock works well, but i think it would be better with coil, or maybe a PUSH tuned air shock that suits the bike. New forks would be a great upgrade if you wanted a more gravity orientated bike. Some 66s or Lyriks. Dont go over 160mm of travel though.

The frame is suprisingly robust. Obviously it has limits but it'll put up with a lot. Wheels are a good upgrade, some Mavics or DT Swiss rims are a good place to start, then Pro 2s or Halo Spin docotrs seem to be a standard hub to go with (Or go NS as they're polish too, i think..).

Cranks should be okay. Don't fix them till they're broken i guess is the motto there. Chainguide is very much what you like the look of, they all do the same job at the same price.

They work well, suit the bike nicely. If you have the cash flow go for Lyriks though, lighter and will still be nice and strong.

Yeh, Shimano cranks are strong enough for almost any application. Saints are overkill IMO.
When you say you shaved the cranks, what do you mean?

It you broke them 2 hours out of the box you were clearly doing something wrong..

One major drop and it could rip the treads out..?

Deemaxs on a saracen.. seriously. Thats like buying a Big Mac and Serving it with a glass of Champange.
Nothing wrong with saracens, but couldnt you have brought a nice frame second hand for Deemax money.

really dont see the point, in effect your legs stay still and the front of the bike moves..
i can't see it working any other way, unless the force is so great it can force the rear wheel up as well as your body wight, it just deems its self pointless. Maybe it works well, i'm no expert and nor have i ridden a URT frame in years but it's clearly a flawed design otherwise why don't you see it more often instead of just on Mr Bigs and Kwik-e-mart brand bikes.
Sticking the pivot around the BB and then having a much better suspension design is surely the way to go..?

Insane. Black markets have to be the best looking hardtails around.
Sort the stem and put a brake on the back and you'll have a lush rig

When did all you little kids get such sick bikes. Puts my norco to shame tbh.

It'll have faded by the time i'm 60.. :\ Lip tattoos are supposed to fade within months. Mines still there but not so visable.
I have 1" lobes, a full sleeve coming, stretched nostrils and lip.. This is the least of my worries.
I have no regrets. Whats the point in living if you don't do what you want?

I love mine. It really is a fun little bike. Pedals better now i've had a fiddle with the shock which is great. It inspires me to ride harder and faster. Nothing i've ridden compares to it in all honesty. Norco get bad press but my Six is a little beauty. I'm aware it can't take of huge stuff, but thats not what i go for anyway. It'll jump, drop and Downhill as well as i can.
Sort the brakes out by fitting some better pads. Shimano ones are a tad crap. Superstar ones are good, or A2Z blues. Cheap and reliable.

It'll do anything as far as i'm concerned, Jack of all trades master of none as they say.
It's a size small, so not really an all day bike as i'm 6ft but i can ride it about no problem.
Jumps well, It's stupidly quick and can take hits well. Going to give it a proper shake down next week but as far as i'm concerned it's the best bike i;ve owned. It's just so, Fun. The faith was great, but too serious. This puts a smile on my face.

the 66s are ok. Lyriks would be much better if you have the money. Weights a shade under 40lbs i think, which will drop when a get new parts. Air shock is great. I love them, always have. It's a personal thing i guess. I'm just not a fan of coil. Works well though. doesn't pedal well though.
