The air shock works well, but i think it would be better with coil, or maybe a PUSH tuned air shock that suits the bike. New forks would be a great upgrade if you wanted a more gravity orientated bike. Some 66s or Lyriks. Dont go over 160mm of travel though. The frame is suprisingly robust. Obviously it has limits but it'll put up with a lot. Wheels are a good upgrade, some Mavics or DT Swiss rims are a good place to start, then Pro 2s or Halo Spin docotrs seem to be a standard hub to go with (Or go NS as they're polish too, i think..). Cranks should be okay. Don't fix them till they're broken i guess is the motto there. Chainguide is very much what you like the look of, they all do the same job at the same price.

They work well, suit the bike nicely. If you have the cash flow go for Lyriks though, lighter and will still be nice and strong.
